With my birthday just gone, this month has so far been full of (a little too much) cake eating, so it’s safe to say I’m not feeling all that healthy and motivated! That’s where Blogilates comes in. You’ve probably all heard of it before, but Blogilates is a fitness website created by Cassey Ho. She does awesome YouTube videos, workout calenders that are easy to follow, healthy recipes, and much more!
Her POP Pilates for Beginners Calender is where I’ll be starting. You can print it off and the idea is to sign off once you’ve completed each day. Making it official and giving you a visual of something being completed. She’s so organised she’s even provided links to the playlist for the workouts on her YouTube channel for each day…so there’s no excuse!
I’m planning on starting this today so while you’re reading this post I’m probably huffing and puffing trying to get through Day 1 🙂
Something else I’m starting to get into a tiny bit is yoga. My posture is terrible and I’ve read that yoga can help a lot with that. After watching a couple of videos on YouTube I’ve found a channel that I really like. It’s called Yoga With Adriene. She’s super easy to follow along with, and her voice is very relaxing. I’m loving the Yoga For Beginners Playlist because that’s what I am! I knew absolutely nothing about yoga so her ‘Yoga Poses For Beginners – Where To Start?’ video was very helpful!
This is the video I’ve been doing so far, it’s perfect for a beginner and I’m excited to move on and try some of her other videos soon!
I bought a yoga mat for £5 and of course these videos etc are free so this is definitely not an expensive option! I’ll let you know how I get on with everything and hopefully I get some motivation back 🙂
