On Good Friday Rob and I had a day out in Weston-Super-Mare. We wanted to see the sand sculptures that they do every year, and just have a day in the sun by a beach. The weather was warm, the sculptures were amazing and we had lunch overlooking the pier. All those things equal a damn good day! The theme of the sculptures this year was ‘Once Upon A Time…’ so they were all based on stories, including Romeo & Juliet, Game of Thrones and Paddington Bear.

The detail in all of the sculptures, and the time and effort that goes into making them is incredible. The artists are so talented and I’m very glad we made the trip to see them. We will definitely be returning next year!
Once we’re well and truly into summer I’m sure a trip to Weston-Super-Mare will be on the cards again, just to get to relax on that beach! Maybe we’ll even make our very own sand sculpture!
Thanks for reading!
