I have had this little blog for just over a year now, and recently I have been feeling like it’s time for a change. The free WordPress blogs are great but can also be quite limiting regarding what you can and can’t do, with themes etc. I’m craving more control and freedom to run my small corner of the web my way.
SO! A change is on the horizon…soon I hope! I’ll keep you posted!
With the theme being ‘change’ today there was only one choice for the weekend song! Seal’s cover of A Change Is Gonna Come
I’m a huge fan of this song…and that incredible voice of his, enjoy!
Have a fabulous weekend!
With my birthday just gone, this month has so far been full of (a little too much) cake eating, so it’s safe to say I’m not feeling all that healthy and motivated! That’s where Blogilates comes in. You’ve probably all heard of it before, but Blogilates is a fitness website created by Cassey Ho. She does awesome YouTube videos, workout calenders that are easy to follow, healthy recipes, and much more!

Her POP Pilates for Beginners Calender is where I’ll be starting. You can print it off and the idea is to sign off once you’ve completed each day. Making it official and giving you a visual of something being completed. She’s so organised she’s even provided links to the playlist for the workouts on her YouTube channel for each day…so there’s no excuse!
I’m planning on starting this today so while you’re reading this post I’m probably huffing and puffing trying to get through Day 1 🙂
Something else I’m starting to get into a tiny bit is yoga. My posture is terrible and I’ve read that yoga can help a lot with that. After watching a couple of videos on YouTube I’ve found a channel that I really like. It’s called Yoga With Adriene. She’s super easy to follow along with, and her voice is very relaxing. I’m loving the Yoga For Beginners Playlist because that’s what I am! I knew absolutely nothing about yoga so her ‘Yoga Poses For Beginners – Where To Start?’ video was very helpful!
This is the video I’ve been doing so far, it’s perfect for a beginner and I’m excited to move on and try some of her other videos soon!
I bought a yoga mat for £5 and of course these videos etc are free so this is definitely not an expensive option! I’ll let you know how I get on with everything and hopefully I get some motivation back 🙂
Do any of you guys do yoga or tried any of the Blogilates workouts? Got any tips for me?!
I’d love to hear about any other great fitness websites or videos you could recommend!

We’ve been back in England for just over a week now, staying at my parents house in Wiltshire and planning our next move. Rob is from Manchester but we’re going to be living down South, closer to my family so I’m close by to help out whenever they need. We’ve been looking into living in Bristol and decided to go for the day on Thursday to have a look around and get a feel for the place. The weather was perfect and we ended up walking almost 9 miles over the course of 6 hours, getting to see almost every corner of the city including the Clifton Suspension Bridge, the University, Cabot Circus and Bristol Harbourside.
Here are some pictures from our day out in Bristol:

We both really liked the city and could see ourselves living there. The next steps are finding jobs and a place to live! This is the bit that I wish was easier. Every year for the last three years now we’ve had to start from scratch whether it was Australia, Vancouver and now here. It’s exciting of course but also very difficult. This time around we’ve got my family to stay with at least so that will help massively.
The job hunt starts now!
