I have had this little blog for just over a year now, and recently I have been feeling like it’s time for a change. The free WordPress blogs are great but can also be quite limiting regarding what you can and can’t do, with themes etc. I’m craving more control and freedom to run my small corner of the web my way.
SO! A change is on the horizon…soon I hope! I’ll keep you posted!
With the theme being ‘change’ today there was only one choice for the weekend song! Seal’s cover of A Change Is Gonna Come
I’m a huge fan of this song…and that incredible voice of his, enjoy!
Have a fabulous weekend!
During the summer they’re showing free outdoor movies every Tuesday in Stanley Park. This Tuesday the movie was…you guessed it, The Breakfast Club so we HAD to go!
Everyone else in Vancouver seemed to have the same idea as us, it was packed! We finally found a pretty decent spot and quickly got settled with our blanket and snacks.
It was a nice night out. People got pretty into it, cheering at the good parts, and almost everyone fist pumped at the final scene 🙂
On the walk to the movie
The Lost Lagoon on our way to the movie
People were hanging in hammocks!
Rob and I waiting for the movie to start
Just a peek at the amount of people there!
The final scene fist pump 🙂
Next week they’re showing Mama Mia! Have you ever been to an outdoor movie? What movie was it? Let me know!
Thanks for reading!
Rob and I had the day off together on Sunday so we went down to Stanley Park and went on a Harbour Cruise around the Burrard Inlet. We used Robs Tourism Pass so the hour long Cruise was free! My favourite!
We had a lovely day off in the city together. It included a delicious lunch on Granville Island after the Cruise, frisbee in the park, pizza for dinner and enjoying some Dexter and Breaking Bad at the end of the day 🙂
